Did Britney Spears Adopt a Baby? Meet Lennon London Spears

Britney Spears just took the internet by storm with her recent announcement of adopting a daughter, whom she has named Lennon London Spears.

The "Baby One More Time" singer took to Instagram on Sunday, July 13, to post a video of her dancing in a barely-there pink one-piece and black go-go boots. A pink baby rocker can be seen in the background, which Spears explained was for her new little girl.

"I haven’t worked out in years so I put this little pink one piece on and PLAYED !!!" she wrote in the caption. "How are you beautiful people this morning ??? I need coffee ☕️ and I want to let you guys know I adopted a beautiful baby girl 😉😉😉 !!! Her name is Lennon London Spears 🤪🤪🤪 !!! This is 30 seconds of my random silly workout !! I hate working out but 3 hours of my footage was all stolen !!! It kinda hurt my stomach to see it disappear because well I sweat my ass off and had a white jacket on !!! Lennon today has on adorable dress 👗🤣🤣🤣 !!! It says I’m NEW HERE !!! SO PLEASE STOP TALKING TRASH AMERICA !!! I’ve decided to move to Italy 🇮🇹😉😉😉 !!!"

Spears turned her comments off, and as of this writing, the post has over 88,000 likes.

A TMZ insider, however, is calling shenanigans on the pop star's claims. Sources close to Spears reportedly told the outlet she didn’t adopt a baby, a dog, or any other sentient being.

In fact, there’s speculation that Spears is trolling her worldwide fanbase, as suggested by the string of winking-face emojis in her caption.

Spears, however, is a mother of two sons with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
