Jennifer Lopez turned an unexpected wardrobe mishap into a moment of pure professionalism and humor during her Up All Night tour stop in Warsaw, Poland, on Friday, July 25.

Performing in front of more than 70,000 fans, the global superstar was in the middle of celebrating her 56th birthday when her sparkly gold skirt slipped off onstage — leaving her in just her matching gold undergarments, according to Buzzfeed (via Yahoo).

The moment happened as Lopez was rushing back to the stage mid-costume change after her team and band began singing “Happy Birthday.” She had just slipped into a glittering gold bralette, fringed miniskirt, full-sleeve gloves, and matching heels when the unexpected happened.

“Thank you!” she told the crowd. “Thank you, Warsaw!” But as she stepped forward, her skirt came undone. After a quick scream, she looked around, laughed, and declared, “I’m out here in my underwear,” before twirling for the audience and adding, “That’s gonna be everywhere!”

Despite a team member’s attempt to reattach the skirt, Lopez embraced the moment fully. She tossed the skirt into the crowd and joked, “I’m glad that they reinforced that costume, and I’m glad I had underwear on!”
