Intern Loses Job After Wildly Racist Tweet Goes Viral

Sometimes the Internet has to check you. It's as simple as that. A 20-year-old student intern at a wellness products company in Arizona found that out this week when her crazy racist tweet went viral and got her fired.

Here's how that happens. First, Erika Escalante posts a racist ass tweet with photos of her and a friend picking cotton with the caption "Our inner nigger came out today." No chill.

Then people start going in, which causes her to delete the Tweet, but not before multiple screengrabs were taken to ensure that tweet was never, ever, going away completely. Gotcha.

Then people started letting her job know about it. Done.
