The FBI has subpoenaed court documents containing texts in which former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle allegedly says he paid for sex with a 16-year-old girl. The messages, which are between Fogle and a Subway franchisee, date back to 2008, Business Insider reports.

Apparently the franchisee was in a relationship with Fogle at the time, but she "grew uncomfortable" with their conversations after he referenced paying for sex with a 16-year-old girl from a Craigslist ad:

He also made repeated references to the franchisee's underage cousin, confirming his status as a bonafide creep. Although the franchisee reported Fogle's texts to Subway at the time, but Subway determined that no violations had occurred because Fogle wasn't technically a Subway employee. Subway claims to have no record of the allegation.

Subway suspended relations with Fogle after his home was raided by the FBI in connection to a child pornography investigation early last month.
