Dwayne Johnson's Mom Brought to Tears After Receiving New House for Christmas

Dwayne Johnson's generosity knows no limits.

Though he's previously blessed his family with extravagant gifts, the 46-year-old action star truly outdid himself this holiday season. On Saturday night, Johnson posted a heart-warming Instagram video in which he presented his mother with an incredible Christmas gift: a new house.

"This one felt good. Surprise! Bought my mom a new home for Christmas," he wrote in the caption. "The first home my parents ever lived in was the one I bought for them in 1999. They divorced about 5 yrs later and as with life, stuff happens and things got a little complicated. Since then I always made sure my mom and dad have everything they’ll ever need."

The clip shows Ata Johnson sitting in front of a Christmas tree, holding on to a framed photo of her and her son, while reading a letter announcing the gift. Once she realizes what she's received, Ata becomes understandably emotional.

Johnson also made headlines this week after he invited three young fans to the set of Hobbs & Shaw, his Fast and Furious spinoff co-starring Jason Statham. The visit was organized by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity, and Starlight Children's Foundation.

"We are lucky to play heroes," he told the kids. "They are really like superheroes because they're super, super strong."
