Logan Paul Says Egyptian Government Banned Him From Entering Country
Logan Paul was set to film with MrBeast in Egypt.
Logan Paul says he’s been banned from entering Egypt.
MrBeast broke the news to him after Paul expressed an interest in traveling to the African country with his fellow YouTuber.
“MrBeast just uploaded a new video exploring the pyramids or something. I love the pyramids,” Paul explained in his vlog. “So I was like ‘Jimmy, can I come?’ And he was like ‘For sure dude.’ Then a week later he called me and was like, ‘Dude, unfortunately, the Egyptian government said that you can’t come, otherwise we can’t come.’
According to Paul, he doesn't know why he would be prevented from visting Egypt.
“I was like ‘Wait what? I know I pissed people off but the Egyptian government?" Paul explained. "I’ve never even been to Egypt, why can’t I come to the pyramid Jimmy?’ He said ‘I don’t know the government specifically said you are the only person that cannot come on this trip.’”
There doesn’t appear to be any additional information on Paul's ban, though it might have something to do with the 29-year-old’s reputation.
Back in December 2017, Paul made headlines for posting a YouTube vlog of his trip to Japan’s Aokigahara forest, which is infamously known as the country’s suicide forest. Sadly, the video included uncensored footage of a man who appeared to have died by suicide. Viewers were outraged by his footage and YouTube cut ties with him. Paul later issued an apology.
