'Tiger King' Joe Exotic Gets Married to Fellow Inmate
Exotic was previously married to Dillon Passage from 2017 to 2023.
Joe Exotic’s off the market. TMZ reports that the jailed Tiger King star married his fellow inmate Jorge Marquez, who’s incarcerated for immigration issues.
Exotic shared the news on Monday, alongside a photo of him and Marquez wearing tuxes and white baseball hats, writing, “Never been more proud. Mi esposo.”
In addition to tagging his new husband, Exotic also tagged the Instagram account @beyondbarsimaging, which blends photos of incarcerated people together.
Last week, Exotic posted a photo of himself and Marquez with a lengthy caption: “He has gotten me through so much fighting cancer under these conditions. All I pray to God for is Trump will allow me to enjoy a little life outside with him before it's too late.
"I love you Jorge you are my life," Exotic added, ending the note by tagging Donald Trump’s IG account.
According to the outlet, there is an almost 30-year difference between the lovebirds, with Joe 62 years old to Jorge's 33. The pair got engaged in their Texas prison in October.
Exotic is currently serving a 21-year prison sentence for a murder-for-hire plot targeting his rival, Carole Baskin. He previously revealed he’s attempting to get Marquez asylum so they can be together upon release. Marquez is reportedly in federal prison for illegally living in the US and is slated to get out this year.
This is Exotic’s second marriage. He divorced his ex, Dillon Passage, in 2023 after saying their I do's in 2017.
