On May 17, Family Style Food Festival made its long-awaited New York debut. Under sunny spring skies, 17,000 people flocked to Industry City in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, to sample fine food from more than 35 restaurants, and to cop exclusive streetwear from the best labels in the game, including Awake, Kith, and Brigade.
DoorDash was there for it all, partnering with top restaurants to give DashPass members incredible perks, like access to express, line-cutting Fast Lanes and merch. Russ & Daughters
Legendary NYC institution Russ & Daughters had the Family Style Food Festival on lock Saturday, serving up its signature smoked fish. The Russ & Daughters booth's vintage Lower East Side aesthetic balanced heritage with hype. At Family Style, Russ & Daughters reminded everyone why they've been New York food royalty since 1914.
Win Son Bakery
Win Son Bakery rocked its Family Style Food Festival appearance on Saturday, transforming its corner of the event into a Taiwanese pastry paradise that had New Yorkers buzzing. The East Williamsburg hotspot came through with mochi donuts and buttery scallion pancakes that Instagram couldn't get enough of. At Industry City, Win Son Bakery showed exactly why it’s got the culture in a chokehold when it comes to modern Taiwanese cuisine in NYC.
7th Street Burger
7th Street Burger went big at Family Style. The East Village cult favorite wasn't playing games, serving up its beloved smashed patties with that perfect caramelized crust that's been breaking the internet since they opened. With its hand-cut fries and good vibes, 7th Street Burger showed Family Style attendees how it became a legend in the East Village.
Apollo Bagels
Apollo Bagels made a strong impression at Family Style Food Festival, drawing impressive crowds with its distinctive bagels that combine traditional techniques and contemporary flavors. With its Family Style New York appearance, Apollo Bagels reinforced its formidable reputation as an innovative force in the city's competitive bagel scene.
Nowon
Nowon brought serious energy to Family Style Food Festival on Saturday, with its Korean-American creations drawing one of the day's most dedicated crowds. Its booth maintained a constant vibe throughout the festival, with guests lingering to savor their meals. By the end of the day, Nowon had laid out its case as one of the most exciting players reshaping the Korean food scene in the United States.
By 9pm, Family Style was a wrap. Satisfied foodies filtered out in the Brooklyn night. By that time, DoorDash and its DashPass member Fast Lanes had whisked hundreds of foodies past the lines at Russ & Daughters, Win Son, 7th Street Burger, Apollo Bagels, and Nowon, showing that its value reaches far beyond home delivery to the grounds of America’s biggest food festivals.
