To know the Snack Wrap® is to love it, and we were devastated when McDonald’s removed them from the menu almost a decade ago. Since then, Snack Wrap aficionados emailed and took to social media, wondering if it would return, and pleading for it to come back. Earlier this month, fans' dreams came true when it officially returned to restaurants nationwide - with two delicious options, Ranch and Spicy, for only $2.99.
To celebrate, McDonald’s is bringing its Chef’s Remix event to the Big Apple at Brooklyn’s Duggal Greenhouse at 4 PM (63 Flushing Avenue, Building 268, Brooklyn, New York) on Saturday, July 26.
The first Chef’s Remix took place in Washington, D.C., where acclaimed Chef Kwame Onwuachi turned the McCrispyTM Strips into delicious double-decker club sandwiches. (Had brioche bread, caviar, and everything!)
Now, McDonald’s is collaborating with another top-notch chef. For its New York event, McDonald’s tapped renowned Chef Marcus Samuelsson. Owner of Harlem’s Red Rooster and Ginny’s Supper Club, Samuelsson has made his mark all over the culinary world. And similar to the Washington D.C. event, the New York Chef’s Remix will allow attendees to taste the beloved McDonald’s menu item in a new and delicious way.
So if this sounds like your kind of fun—and it should, because why not?— come through. It’s going to be a vibe.
