Phil Robertson’s ‘Lost Daughter’ Shares Heartbreaking Tribute on Father’s Day

Phyllis Robertson Thomas, the "long lost daughter" of the late Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame, shared a post in honor of Father's Day.

Sunday, June 15 marked the first Father's Day that the Robertson family spent without their patriarch, who died in May.

"Father’s Day feels different this year," Thomas captioned an Instagram post. "It’s my first without my dad here, and I miss him deeply. But even in the ache, I see God’s goodness in the men around me—my husband, and now my son as he raises two sons of his own. What a gift to witness the love, strength, and faith passed down from one generation to the next," she added.

Thomas learned that Robertson was her biological father after they both took a test in 2019. Robertson had four sons with his wife, Miss Kay Robertson, and had no idea that he'd also fathered a daughter with another woman many years ago.

Robertson was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2024. His condition worsened over the next few months. His family shared the news of his death on social media in late May.

One day after his passing, Thomas shared some photos on social media.

"These are just a small glimpse of the countless moments we hold dear. We’re truly moved by the overwhelming love and prayers shared by so many whose lives were impacted by Dad. We wish we had more time, but we have overwhelming joy knowing he has met Jesus face to face," she captioned a post.

Dozens of fans rallied around her, sending love and support.
