Pete Davidson Wishes Ariana Grande the Best on 'SNL'
"She’s a wonderful, strong person and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world."
Pete Davidson looked like he was finally ready to close the door on his public breakup with Ariana Grande on the most recent Saturday Night Episode.
After calling it quits last month, the comedian turned to humor when alluding to the breakup during an SNL promotional skit. This angered many of Grande's fans while the singer herself appeared to take offense, according to her tweet.

But in his latest appearance on "Weekend Update," Davidson took the high road. After discussing the midterm elections, Davidson took time away from his sketch to address his breakup.
"The truth is it's nobody's business," Davidson said. "Sometimes things just don’t work out and that's OK. She’s a wonderful, strong person and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world."
These parting words followed Grande's latest single, "Thank U, Next," where she addresses her past relationships with Davidson and Mac Miller. The song dropped 30 minutes before SNL went on air.
