Is John Boyega's Character in Star Wars Actually a Jedi?!

Wow, remember when racist fanboys threw a fit at the prospect of John Boyega playing a black Stormtrooper in the forthcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens? Well, this brief but nonetheless very intriguing teaser posted to the film's official Instagram account may have just revealed another layer to his character Finn. As more plot details have slowly but surely been revealed, fans wondered which of the new cast members would actually be a Jedi? Within whom does the Force awaken? The answer may lie with Finn, as previous footage of the film's villain Kylo Ren igniting his lightsaber in a forest is expanded to show Finn wielding a blue one, ready for a face-off. Christmas—or at the very least, a new trailer—can't come soon enough.
