Reddit May Have Discovered a "Game of Thrones"/"Lord of the Rings" Connection

In the latest in-depth television theory off of Reddit, a user has found a possible Easter egg in Game of Thrones that ties in Lord of the Rings. NoMoreHodoring noticed that King Joffrey's throne has a sword in it that looks eerily similar to Gandalf’s sword.

Who is to say that this was a purposeful treat or a coincidence in set design. But, just like qwertzinator, we wonder if there's a lightsaber in there somewhere, too.
