Bill Cosby Admitted He Used Drugs to Try to Rape Women (Updated)

Bill Cosby has staunchly denied accusations from the more than 30 women who have accused him of rape, but sworn testimony from the man himself in 2005 tells a different story. The Associated Press has obtained documents in which the comedian admitted to procuring Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to women he wanted to sleep with, falling in line with several women's stories of Cosby drugging and raping them. He also admitted to following through with giving the sedative to at least one woman and "other people."

Cosby's representatives have responded to these newly released details with an official statement to ABC:

"The only reason Mr. Cosby settled was because it would have been embarrassing in those days to put all those women on the stand and his family had no clue. That would have been very hurtful."
