Larry David Plays Bernie Sanders on 'SNL' Because Perfection Is Possible

Tonight we've been treated to the (now) #rare Saturday Night Live sketch. Larry David played his doppelganger in both appearance and spirit: Vermont Senator and democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. The two salty Brooklyn Jews were already paired in our minds, but now they'll be eternally linked in this casting move dropped down directly from the hands of destiny.

Also historic is that this surprise appearance gives David more screen time and success than he ever had when he was an actual SNL writer. Watch the full video below.
