DDG Says Speculation That His Net Worth Is $8 Million Is ‘Not Accurate'
DDG addressed questions about his net worth as a guest on '360 With Speedy.'
DDG almost had Speedy Morman fooled in a new episode of Complex's 360 With Speedy.
Around the 25-minute mark of the video above, Speedy put the Michigan-born streamer and rapper in the hot seat about his net worth. While some previous guests have evaded the question or denied their net worth being what Speedy claimed, DDG joked about his equity being nearly thirteen times higher than expected.
"A quick Google search says that your net worth is $8 million dollars. Is that accurate?" Speedy asked.
"Nah," DDG replied, denying that the amount was "way off." "I wouldn't say it's way off, but it's not accurate," he continued.
DDG then said that the predicted net worth was "$80 million off," surprising Speedy. "So it's currently at $8 million and we're $80 million off," Speedy said. "So you're approaching $100 million dollars net worth."
"Yeah, I'm a Libra though," DDG said, which confused Speedy. "[We] be lying and shit."
"That went over my head," Speedy joked.
"No, it's okay. Girls know it–girls know Zodiacs," DDG added, agreeing to being "untruthful" with Speedy.
DDG also expressed that he's "cool with $100 million," although, if he reaches $101 million, he "might as well go to a billion." "If I can touch $100 mil by 37 I'll be happy."
His financial strategy? Working "harder" and building a "cohesive" team, DDG said.
Earlier this month, DDG was on the podcast Got Sole and shared that he's worth more than $8 million, revealing that his biggest YouTube check was around $400,000. "But I'm grinding though," DDG said at the 21:40 mark of the video below. "Like, I'm not missing no days. I'm posting three videos a day, seven videos in one day. Like, I'm going crazy."
