Druski Elaborates on Dating Rubi Rose, Says He Was 'Trolling' After Saying 'You Better Have Them Pockets Ready'

Actor-comedian and social media influencer Druski switched up his stance after hinting towards shelving out cash on his ex-girlfriend, rapper Rubi Rose.

To promote the inaugural Coulda Fest, which will be held in Atlanta next month, Druski visited local radio station V-103. But while discussing his career and upcoming comedy festival, around the 8:45-minute mark of the video below, Druski was asked about being single. Co-host Jazzy McBee even joked that Druski and Rubi dated for "two weeks," which didn't seem to bother the former Grown-ish star.

"God blesses you sometimes with situations," he began. "It's a learning situation, and that's what it's all about. It wasn't nothing bad that happened."

He continued, "She's a beautiful girl. She's doing great in life, man. She's making money, I'm doing the same."

In terms of the lesson that Druski took from the relationship, he kept it frank. "Coming out of that, you better have them pockets ready," he said.

Clarifying that "you just gotta be ready," Druski added, "'cause you don't know when you gon' have to be pulling that wallet out."

After detailing that their relationship was financially extravagant, Druski joked that he "might go back and spin the block."

But in his Instagram Stories after the interview, Druski wrote that he was "trolling" in his answer. "She spent more money in the relationship than I did," he continued.

But if Druski was spending frivolously, Rubi tried to make up for it with her cooking. The exes' breakup was confirmed last month.
