Jessica Alba and her husband, Cash Warren, are publicly moving forth with a separation amid rumors that they've split.

On Thursday (January 16), the Trigger Warning actress broke her silence, sharing on Instagram that she and Warren, with whom she shares three children, have separated. The couple got married in 2008.

"I've been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years-both as an individual and in partnership with Cash," the actress wrote.
"I'm proud of how we've grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it's now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals."
She concluded, "We are moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time."

Speculation about Alba and Warren's relationship status surfaced last week, just months after the couple celebrated their 16th anniversary. According to TMZ, both were recently spotted without their wedding rings.

Alba and Warren have two daughters, Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and a son, Hayes, 7. The pair met on the set of 2005 superhero movie, Fantastic Four, where Alba was cast as Susan Storm, and Warren was a director's assistant.
