Justin Baldoni has moved forward in his countersuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

According to People, on Thursday, lawyers for the It Ends With Us star and filmmaker filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds on charges including civil extortion, defamation, and false light invasion of privacy.

The lawsuit comes mere weeks after Baldoni sued The New York Times for $250 million after the publication broke the news about Lively's "self-serving narrative" in her libel suit.

The publication notes that along with the aforementioned charges, Baldoni, along with producer Jamey Heath, publicist Jennifer Abel, and crisis publicist Melissa Nathan, sued for breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, intentional interference with contractual relations, intentional interference with prospective economic advantage, and negligent interference with prospective economic advantage.

In a statement, Baldoni's attorney Bryan Freedman claimed that his client has an "overwhelming amount of untampered evidence detailing Blake Lively and her team’s duplicitous attempt to destroy Justin Baldoni and his team."

Freedman also said the evidence the actress provided was "grossly edited" and "unsubstantiated."

"It is clear based on our own all out willingness to provide all complete text messages, emails, video footage and other documentary evidence that was shared between the parties in real time, that this is a battle she will not win and will certainly regret," Freedman said.

"Let’s not forget, Ms. Lively and her team attempted to bulldoze reputations and livelihoods for heinously selfish reasons through their own dangerous manipulation of the media before even taking any actual legal action. We know the truth, and now the public does too," he continued. "Justin and his team have nothing to hide, documents do not lie."

Lively, who starred alongside Baldoni in It Ends With Us, sued the actor-director last month for sexual harassment, months after fans of the movie noticed behind-the-scenes tension between her and Baldoni.

Before the likes of Amber Heard and Jenny Slate publicly supported Lively, the actress accused Baldoni of attempting to start a smear campaign against her, claiming that his on-set behavior caused her and her family "severe emotional distress."

Whereas Baldoni accused Lively and Reynolds of "berating" him in a "humiliating" manner, Lively alleged that the filmmaker made crude remarks about her weight and age and discussed his sex life.
