Justin and Hailey Bieber Welcome Their First Child, Jack Blues
The couple's child arrived just before their sixth wedding anniversary.
Nearing six years of marriage, Justin and Hailey Bieber have a new addition to their family: a new baby named Jack Blues Bieber.
On Friday (August 23), the "Baby" singer made an Instagram post of his wife holding their child's tiny bare foot, next to the a caption that reads, "WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER 🐻."
Congratulating the couple on X was Justin Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette and Stephen Baldwin, actor and father of Hailey Bieber, née Baldwin.
"CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey. I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!" Mallette wrote, to which Baldwin reposted, adding, "Amen, Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family."
Jack Blues is the couple's first child and was announced in May, accompanying a vow renewal and followed by a few babymoon trips.
Initially, Hailey Bieber tried to conceal her pregnancy with larger clothing and fewer public appearances (she wasn't seen at this year's Coachella), but this only intensified pregnancy speculation.
"I was honestly able to keep it quiet because I stayed small for a long time," the 27-year-old told W Magazine in a July cover story. "I didn’t have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant, which was when I announced it. I was able to wear big jackets and stuff."
"I probably could have hid it until the end," she continued. "But I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life."
