Marlon Wayans Makes Fun of Keke Palmer for Asking if 2Pac Would've Liked Her: 'He's Dead'
The actress and podcast host asked Wayans if 2Pac would've "liked" her.
Keke Palmer wants to know if she would've had a shot with the late Tupac "2Pac" Shakur.
Marlon Wayans, who starred alongside 2Pac in 1994 sports drama Above the Rim, was a guest on the Wednesday (July 30) episode of podcast Baby, This Is Keke Palmer.
Around the 51-minute mark of the episode below, Palmer and Wayans played the "One's Gotta Go" game, in which the actor-comedian could choose to drop one rap legend among Nas, Jay-Z, The Notorious B.I.G., and 2Pac.
Wayans called the question "completely unfair," adding that he "met all of them." This surprised Palmer, who forgot that her guest and 2Pac were once co-stars.
"Me and 2Pac were friends," Wayans said. "That was my guy."
"What was he like? Would he have liked me?" Palmer asked.
Wayans called the late rapper "funny as hell" but was taken aback by the actress' question, jokingly calling it "crazy."
"You want me to hook you up with 2Pac? He's dead," Wayans said. "But I
just want to know he would hit this. That's all I want to know 'cause I love his eyelashes. I want my baby to have eyelashes like 2Pac.'"
After Palmer said that the rapper's "skin was gorgeous," Wayans called 2Pac a "good dude" but kicked him out of the "One's Gotta Go" rap category.
"I love 'Dear Mama,' but come on, man," Wayans said.
The Him star instead gave props to Nas, who Wayans thinks has gotten better with age, and Hov, partly because he's "married to Beyoncé."
Also on the podcast, Wayans credited his older brother, Shawn, as the most attractive of his siblings and denied that Damon Wayans Sr. was a "girlfriend stealer."
