Miley Cyrus' siblings felt "humiliated" with having her as a sister around the release of her 2014 album Bangerz.

The three-time Grammy winner was a guest on the new episode of podcast Reclaiming With Monica Lewinsky and detailed how her raciness at the time challenged her family members. Cyrus has five siblings altogether: Brandi, 38, Trace, 36, Christopher, 33, Braison, 31, and Noah, 25.

Cyrus said that in 2013, she was "hit so hard" and "embarrassed" about the reactions that she received from her siblings, including a brother and sister were so "humiliated" by her that they "didn't want to go to school."

"I remember my brother at one point he was saying, 'I don't judge you, but you could understand how hard it is for me to go to school, and you be my sister.' I was a hard sibling to have as a little girl, so I was like 'All right we're even,'" she continued.

Cyrus added that she "lost everything" in her personal life, which was impacted by her career, and alluded to her first engagement to actor Liam Hemsworth, which was called off in 2013. "If I kept dressing or acting a certain way, my relationships fell apart," she said. "No one wanted to date me because they didn't want to be with a woman [whose] sexual expression part was not for them. It was shared with the world."

Cyrus also expressed that it was difficult to face her parents, recalling that she was "super embarrassed" when being with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus.

In 2013, fans were shocked when Cyrus rocked a choppy haircut, twerked, and released songs that weren't Disney Channel friendly.
