So before you check in, check out our list of amazing food destinations.

Esther’s Kitchen

Location: 1131 S Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89104

“This once hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant is running away with the title of hottest spot in the Arts District,” Greg says. Esther’s Kitchen provides a mouth-watering menu of house-made pastas (spaghetti, rigatoni, zucca, mezzaluna, fazzoletti—you name it), delicious seasonal entrees, and creative small plates. Set inside a beautifully renovated space with a horseshoe bar stocked with fine wines, local craft beers, and creative cocktails, Esther’s Kitchen should be a top contender on your culinary circuit.

Eat.

Location: 707 Carson Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89101

There’s nothing like finding the perfect breakfast and brunch spot. Once you do, it’s hard to go anywhere else. That’s why Eat., which Anderson calls, “the best breakfast, brunch, or lunch place in town,” remains one of the most popular destinations in downtown Las Vegas. Fuel up for the day with Chef Natalie Young’s sweet and savory offerings, from deviled eggs and cinnamon biscuits to golden-brown pancakes with chicken-apple sausage and mouth-watering breakfast sandwiches. With its focus on community and craftsmanship, Eat. stands out as one of the city’s best pit stops to start your day.

Lotus of Siam

Location: 620E Flamingo Rd. Las Vegas, Nevada 89119

Lotus of Siam is “the best upscale Thai food in Vegas,” according to Anderson. A beloved gem in Las Vegas, Lotus of Siam is celebrated for its unforgettable Northern Thai cuisine, adored by both locals and the late, great Anthony Bourdain. It’s a go-to spot for food lovers seeking high-quality, fresh flavors, from tender garlic prawns to crispy chicken lollipops to savory Thai fried rice. The extensive menu has something for every craving, all served by a notably friendly staff, making Lotus of Siam a must-visit for an exceptional dining experience.

Monta

Location: 5030 Spring Mountain Rd #6, Las Vegas, NV 89146

Every slurp, every bite, is absolutely worth it. Monta Ramen is one of the best ramen spots in Vegas, tucked away on the westside of the Strip in Chinatown. Known for its rich, tasty broths and house-made noodles, Monta Ramen delivers an authentic experience that’s a must-try for food lovers. Pull up and enjoy options like a classic tonkotsu, their eye-grabbing kuro ramen with black garlic oil, or a refreshing cold noodle dish without broth that always crosses the flavor finish line. Slide off the Strip and walk through these doors for a hearty meal that’s gonna hit every time.

Carson Kitchen

Location: 124 S 6th St #100, Las Vegas, NV 89101

Las Vegas greets you with lights, thrills, and non-stop entertainment, but sometimes it’s those familiar comforts that truly hit the spot. That’s where Carson Kitchen comes in. “A mainstay of the downtown scene,” as Greg puts it, this spot is a hit among both locals and visitors for its bold flavors, unique style, and unforgettable dishes. Founded by the late, legendary Rock 'n' Roll Chef Kerry Simon, Carson Kitchen is famous for its inventive take on American comfort food. The menu delivers standouts like crispy chicken skins, gyro tacos, bacon jam, and wild mushroom flatbreads. And each dish fires on all cylinders. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking for a dining experience that’s off the Strip but deeply rooted in Vegas culture.
