Jake Paul Aggressively Ends Interview After Calling Piers Morgan a 'Fat A**'
Paul hurled an insult at the broadcaster.
Well, that got ugly.
Boxer and influencer Jake Paul teed off on British broadcaster Piers Morgan, who called out Paul's boxing talents.
In short, Morgan doesn't think Paul is that good.
Paul slammed Morgan as a "fat a**" before abruptly shutting down the interview, according to a video posted on YouTube and on the Piers Morgan Uncensored X page.
The fracas stemmed from a heated debate about Paul's boxing abilities; he was on Morgan's Uncensored show to promote his June 28 boxing match against Julio César Chávez Jr., as noted by US Weekly.
The incident was first captured in a teaser clip for the interview.
“I think the problem here, Piers, is that you think that your opinion matters," Paul said in the clip.
Morgan needled Paul first about his boxing talents, telling him, “Peak Tyson, you wouldn’t have lasted 10 seconds," a reference to Paul's underwhelming but much-promoted bout against the now aged boxing legend. Morgan said the only "proper boxer" that Paul faced was Tommy Fury, and "he beat you."
“This s*** is not a joke,” Paul retorted. “I’m knocking out the best of the best. You versus going to the gym. You're still a fat a**."
He added, "People don’t realize I’m a real killer. I really f***ing do this s***.”
After the "fat a**" comment, Morgan suggested that Paul focus on being a YouTube influencer instead, which seemed to upset him more. "I think you're a great YouTuber. A great influencer," said Morgan.
“You can sit there and make up s***, but you actually don’t know your facts,” Paul responded angrily.
The Piers Morgan Uncensored X page accused Paul of "rage quitting" the show.
"Jake Paul fat-shames Piers Morgan before rage quitting his interview in tonight's Uncensored - dropping at 10 p.m. (5 p.m. ET)," the post said.
