Are they or aren't they? Fans want to know whether Machine Gun Kelly and Sydney Sweeney are or were dating, and now he's responded to the rumors.

Andy Cohen asked MGK about the girlfriend talk on Watch What Happens Live.

"MGK, Kyle P. wants to know if there's any truth to the rumor you and Sydney Sweeney were more than just friends," Cohen read a fan's question to MGK.

"Kyle P., shut up dude," Machine Gun Kelly responded with a smile, provoking laughter from Cohen.

Bravo captioned the video, which was posted to Instagram, "Were mgk and Sydney Sweeney ever an item?"

"That's a yes," a fan responded in the comment thread.

"So that's a YES?? 😂" another fan wrote.

"He wishes," retorted another fan.

MGK and Sweeney first sparked romance talk in May when they were seen looking close in Las Vegas, according to Page Six.

A video obtained by the outlet showed the pair hugging and getting close during the opening of a new club at the MGM Grand Hotel.

Whether it meant anything is not clear; the publication noted that she was seen interacting with White Lotus actor Patrick Schwarzenegger at the same event. Furthermore, Sweeney and MGK have known each other since at least 2021 when they starred in a movie together called Downfalls High, according to Page Six.

MGK is single after his breakup with Megan Fox, who recently gave birth to his baby.

In May, Sweeney confirmed that she was single after a split with her long-time fiancé, a producer named Jonathan Davino.

“I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I’m loving it," she told the London Times.
