Pamela Anderson Is 'Just Like' Liam Neeson's Late Wife Natasha Richardson, Andy Cohen Says

The surprise romance between former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson and actor Liam Neeson makes a lot of sense to a man who knew his deceased wife, Natasha Richardson.

Richardson died tragically 16 years ago at age 45, after hitting her head during a fall on a Canadian ski hill.

Since her death, Neeson has rarely dated and even indicated that finding another love interest was not likely in his future.

Until he met Anderson on the set of their Naked Gun sequel. That sparked a series of telling comments from both actors. Neeson remarked that he was "madly in love" with Anderson, and it was revealed that she baked him cookies and bread.

Finally, People confirmed that it's not all a publicity stunt for their movie. Neeson and Anderson are, in fact, dating, and they appeared with their respective sons for the New York premiere of their film.

"It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other," a source told People.

Bravo executive Andy Cohen thinks he knows one reason behind Anderson's appeal to Neeson. He sees a resemblance to Richardson.

According to comments he made on his podcast Radio Andy, Cohen told Neeson, of Anderson, "She is an independent woman just like Tash was. She loves to cook. She has her own thing going on. She has two boys.”

He was a close friend to Richardson, according to Page Six, and declared that Anderson is "just like" her.

Anderson, of course, has been through her share of heartbreak as a result of multiple divorces.

Cohen believes that Anderson and Neeson "just work" despite their age gap (she is 58, and he is 73).

“She is a formidable human being, Pamela Anderson," he said, adding that he was impressed by "how she kind of reclaimed herself and redefined herself" despite what she's "been through."

He added, “I and all of the friends in this circle are very much stanning whatever this is."
