Ice T recently responded to someone on X who asked if the upcoming 26th season of Law & Order: SVU had been written "back to normal," claiming the long-running procedural "started to go woke."

"What the F is Woke? lol Like I give a Fuck," he responded.

Another person provided a weird description of what it means to be woke, but it did not sway Ice T in the intended direction.

Ice T made it clear that he prefers to stay out of the political discourse, comparing the red and blue colors commonly associated with Republicans and Democrats, respectively, to "GangBangin."

"I stay outta Political shit. Like I said before… The Blue Vs The Red… It's GangBangin to me," he wrote, possibly referencing his 1988 song "Colors."

"Oh Shit… Fd around and went Viral… lol," he wrote, responding to Variety picking up his reaction to the "woke" message.

As he alluded to in the initial post that sparked this whole viral moment, Ice T will star in Season 26 of Law & Order: SVU, premiering later this year. According to Deadline, the 66-year-old rapper and actor has played detective Odafin Tutuola since the show’s second season in 2000.
