Jonathan Majors' Ex-Girlfriend Grace Jabbari Drops Assault and Defamation Lawsuit Against Him
The actor was sentenced to a 52-week domestic violence program earlier this year.
Jonathan Majors' ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari has dropped her assault and defamation lawsuit against the actor.
A joint notice was filed by attorneys for Majors and Jabbari on Thursday, stating "all claims against Defendant in the above-captioned action are hereby dismissed with prejudice," as reported by Variety.
Jabbari filed the lawsuit in March, accusing him of having a history of domestic abuse and making her out to be a liar. The suit came after a split verdict on the conviction of third-degree assault and second-degree harassment where he ultimately received a 52-week domestic violence program earlier this year.
Jabbari accused Majors of continuing to deny that he abused her, even after his conviction. Her suit claimed there was a "pattern of pervasive domestic abuse that began in 2021 and extended through 2023," which only intensified when they moved in together in London two years ago.
Majors and Meagan Good announced their engagement on the EBONY Power 100 Gala red carpet earlier this week. Majors and Good started dating in May 2023, shortly after his arrest for an alleged domestic dispute with Jabbari.
