What's the Craziest Meatriding Y'all Ever Seen? Social Media Prompt Sparks Hilarious Examples

Meatriding is an all-too-familiar act synonymous with glazing, brown-nosing, boot-licking, and caping. It’s a type of behavior that requires at least some level of humility, as it’s typically used to garner favoritism from a superior — someone with power, influence, or admirable attributes. And while meatriding can be excusable at times (Who among us hasn’t done a little ass-kissing to get what we want?), some acts are so cringe and shameless that they’re forever seared into our memories. 

X user @itsminga_ recognized this common experience and presented the following prompt: “What’s craziest meatriding y’all ever seen?” And, to absolutely no one’s surprise, the post garnered some terrific examples.

One person pointed to Alessandra Basher’s music video for “We Thank You, Elon Musk,” which, as the title suggests, is a sycophantic song for the billionaire Tesla boss. 

Another user looked at Ebony Maw, a Marvel character whose subservience to Thanos oscillated between funny and embarrassing. 

People also posted videos of an overzealous Trey Songz and Casanova fan, Paul Heyman’s wild introduction for WWE’s Roman Reigns, and Jamil “Mal” Clay jamming out to Drake’s “Push Ups” track. “N***a was twerkin in a recliner,” read the latter post.

Someone also called attention to one of the most iconic meatriders in pop culture history: The Simpsons’ Waylon Smithers, the overly loyal and obedient assistant to Mr. Burns.
