Idiot Commits Hate Crime After Confusing Hebrew for Spanish

It's not like anyone needs further proof that hate crimes are the product of fear and ignorance, but here's some more. Dylan Grall, a proud product of Janesville, Wisc., was arrested for beating up two men early yesterday morning after demanding that they stop speaking "Spanish."

For the record, they were speaking Hebrew.

Following a confrontation, Grall, 23, struck both of the men—ages 22 and 23—in the face. One victim hit the ground on contact, while the other's eye was almost swollen shut. Grall was arrested and charged with battery and a hate crime; he denied assaulting the men, despite the tell-tale physical evidence. He should really be locked up for confusing Spanish and Hebrew.

Stupidity is always punished.
