Kick the Habit: Bogus Nuns Busted for Carrying Drugs

Only the involvement of nuns could make a story about cocaine and Bogota interesting.

Police were suspicious of three nuns who had just taken a flight from Bogota to San Andres, so they asked to speak with the women. Each of them reportedly looked nervous and their habits (not those habits) were a bit off, because anyone with two kilos of cocaine fastened to their legs would probably be calling on Him to guide them through their illegal mission as well. According to Capt. Oscar Davila, each of the women exploded into tears, saying they agreed to transport the drugs because they had fallen on hard times.
