'Power Rangers' Actor Pua Magasiva Dead at 38

He appeared as the Red Ranger in the 2003 series 'Power Rangers Ninja Storm.'

Pua Magasiva, who is best known for his starring role in Power Rangers Ninja Storm, has died, the New Zealand Herald reports. He was 38 years old.

Authorities rushed over to his home in Wellington, New Zealand, where they found him unresponsive. While his cause of death has yet to be confirmed, a spokeswoman for the police told the Herald that there are "no suspicious circumstances" surrounding his death.

Magasiva appeared in the 2003 iteration of the show, which ran for 38 episodes. He took on the role of Shane Clarke, also known as the Red Wind Ranger. He reprised his role in the following season (titled Dino Thunder).

The actor leaves behind wife Lizz Sadler, a 7-year-old daughter from a previous marriage, and his brother Robbie.
