The Same Video Game Franchises Have Ruled For Nearly a Decade (Infographic)

Twitter user @_TweetTim recently shot Complex an interesting infographic he put together illustrating some very cool facts about which video games locked it down on the PlayStation 3 from 2006 to 2013.

Topping the list of popularity and sales the Call of Duty, FIFA and Grand Theft Auto franchises have had the game (no pun intended) on smash for almost a decade. Just as notable is the breakdown of the types of games most played by different regions. Unsurprising, shooters and action games are the most popular with Americans.
