MGK Shocks Fans by Admitting He Has No Idea How Old He Actually Is
He has his reasons for not knowing all the details, believing details of his past are sketchy at best.
MGK has admitted that he doesn’t really know his age.
The singer-songwriter recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where he told Andy Cohen that he doesn’t actually know his age. He explained that he doesn’t know many facts about his life.
Andy Cohen asked MGK directly how old he was. He said it was because he looks “really young.”
"It's a weird thing, dude. I don't know my age. I don't know if it exists," the performer admits. Cohen continued, “You have a Mariah Carey connection to your age. It’s very fluid.”
MGK responded, "I just don't know many facts about my life. So I just don’t know.”
“I’m starting to be like, my skin, if it rips open, it heals really quick. There's just things where I'm starting to be like, 'Who’s my dad?'"
Cohen was very interested in MGK’s statements, asking him if he could be “other worldly.” The entertainer responded, “I’ve asked my mom, ‘Was there any period of time you went missing?’ She told me she felt like she got abducted at one point.”
A Google search reveals that MGK is 35 years old. His date of birth is April 22, 1990, and he hails from Houston, Texas.
MGK previously opened up about his family history. During an appearance on Bunnie Xo's Dumb Blonde podcast, he shared details of his father standing trial at the age of nine for his own father’s murder.
"The story that was always told to me was that their dad dropped the gun, and his head essentially blew off," MGK shared. "All happened in the room with my dad at 9 years old. So he and my grandmother were tried for the murder. They were both acquitted."
MGK is the father of two daughters: Saga Blade, 5 months (with Meghan Fox), and Casie Colson, (16) with ex Emma Cannon.
