Ice Spice and Mercedes-Benz Link for an Icy Collab and Party
The four-time Grammy nominee appeared at the reimagined Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan dealership opening with her new “Princess” CLA.

Ice Spice dropped her latest project on Thursday night, but it wasn’t an album. The Bronx native and four-time Grammy nominee appeared at the reimagined Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan dealership, debuting an iced-up, dripped-out edition of the luxurious CLA.
The “Princess of Rap" joins four other iconic artists and brands to form Mercedes-Benz’s “Class of Creators,” whose mission is to design one-off art pieces that express their distinctive identities. The canvas for these creations? The brand-new CLA, which is the most energy-efficient, intuitive, and intelligent Mercedes-Benz ever.
Streetwear designer KidSuper, interior designer Gustaf Westman, League of Legends, and Hot Wheels round out the collaborators and will release their own interpretations of the assignment in the coming months.
In true Ice Spice fashion, her take on the CLA includes a melted chrome exterior, with the word “Princess” in sparkling silver letters (with pink borders) stretching across the doors—a nod to both her nickname and famous necklace. The vehicle’s rocker panels contain chain link-patterned detailing, and the wheels boast Ice Spice’s moniker, which encompasses the iconic Mercedes logo.
Alongside the “Class of Creators” initiative, the release of the Mercedes-Benz CLA and the opening of the flagship dealership showcase the brand’s mission to elevate its design and tech standards, while offering reimagined, best-in-class customer service.
