Bobbi Althoff Startled by Hearing Possible Gunshots During YG Interview: 'Does That Happen Here?’
The rapper asked one of his friends to go check out what sounds Althoff was hearing during their interview.
Bobbi Althoff has landed herself another moment after she appeared startled from hearing alleged gunshots while recording an interview with YG.
Earlier this week, footage from a conversation between Althoff and YG surfaced online, and the interview was slightly interrupted by loud noise. In the clip, Althoff is paying attention to whatever the rapper is saying when she hears a loud bang and asks what that sound is.
YG said it might've been a motorcycle or a car with a souped-up muffler, but Althoff claimed never to have heard anything like that. Althoff heard the sound again before asking the same question, and YG confirmed it might have been a gunshot at that time but clarified there would've been a repeat of the same sound if it was a firearm.
"I think that's a gunshot, probably like some other shit," he said. "That's not a gunshot, or you would've heard more than that. It would've been back-to-back."
Althoff then asked if she would hear any gunshots closer to where the interview was being held as she felt it would be "interesting" to hear actual bullets fired from a gun. YG stated he hoped that wouldn't happen but acknowledged he had a lot of "homies" hanging out around the corner before a louder bang was heard, convincing Althoff it wasn't a car making that noise.
The I Got Issues rapper then told one of his friends off-camera to head to the park where "it's active" to see what was going on. Althoff asked what was happening at the park, and YG simply said it was just a lot of "homies" and "hanging out."
This isn't Bobbi's first hangout with YG in the trenches. Earlier this month, the two were seen hanging out in Compton while Kendrick Lamar was shooting the official music video for "Not Like Us."
