Jared Leto Denies Allegations of Sexual Misconduct Made by Nine Separate Women

Jared Leto is pushing back against allegations of sexual misconduct made by nine separate women, some of whom say they were underage when the incidents in question occured.

According to Leto's representative, “all of the allegations" that were made in an extensive report from Air Mail are "expressly denied.”

The representative also dismissed specific claims made by DJ Allie Teilz, who alleged in a since-expired Instagram Story last month that Leto assaulted her when she was just 17. In a 2012 Facebook post, Teliz wrote, “You’re not really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage … In a kilt … And a snow hat.” In another Instagram Story, Teliz wrote: "I was assaulted and traumatized by this creep when I was 17. He knew my age and didn’t care. What he did was predatory, terrifying and unacceptable.”

Leto’s rep addressed that allegation directly, stating that “Ms. Teilz’s allegations are demonstrably false.”

In response to an accuser who alleged that Leto might have been on drugs when he would call her innapropriately, Leto's rep told Air Mail he"has not had a drink or used drugs in over 35 years."

Leto's rep also specifically denied allegations made by model Laura La Rue. “Their communications contain nothing sexual or inappropriate,” Leto’s rep said, adding that “Ms. La Rue later applied to work as Mr. Leto’s personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions.”

The actor, best known for roles in Dallas Buyers Club and Suicide Squad, has been the subject of speculation for years regarding his interactions with young fans.

However, no formal charges have ever been brought against him, and Leto has never publicly addressed the speculation. As of now, neither Leto nor his legal team has issued a more detailed public statement.
