Paris Hilton has shared footage of the irreparable damage the Los Angeles wildfires caused to her Malibu home.

Last week, Hilton shared an Instagram post showing the extensive destruction of the Los Angeles wildfires caused on her $8.4 million home. The video showed Hilton walking through the property's front gate, which had been reduced to debris and ash.

"I'm standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable," she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. "When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock—I couldn't process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces."

She continued, "This house wasn't just a place to live—it was where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family. It was where Phoenix's little hands made art that I'll cherish forever, where love and life filled every corner. To see it reduced to ashes… it's devastating beyond words. In this pain, I know I'm incredibly lucky. My loved ones, my babies, and my pets are safe. That's the most important thing, and I'm holding onto that gratitude with everything I have."

Hilton went on to show gratitude to the firefighters, first responders and the volunteers who have been helping fight the wildfires that ravaged much of the Palisades, Malibu, and other parts of Los Angeles County. She also let her fellow victims know that things will get better and the city will heal and "rise stronger than before."

Hilton and her husband, Carter Reum, purchased the home in June 2021. They welcomed two children while living on the property; their son Phoenix in January 2023 and daughter London in November of that year. In 2023, during an episode of her podcast, I Am Paris, Hilton said the home was the perfect place for her and Reum to raise their kids.

Several other celebrities lost homes to the wildfire that destroyed Hilton's property, including Anthony Hopkins, Anna Faris, John Goodman, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, and Adam Brody and Leighton Meester. As of press time, there are still five active wildfires, while the sixth (Sunset Fire) has been controlled.
