Tia Mowry was hit with a burst of emotion when she got the results of her mammogram test.

In a snippet of the upcoming episode of Tia Mowry: My Next Act, the 46-year-old gave fans an inside look at the moment she received a call from the doctor's office regarding her test results for a mammogram. While on the phone, Mowry finds out her test results were "abnormal," which shocked her.

"We got your results back in from your mammogram, and your results have come back abnormal," said the woman on the phone as Mowry gave a startled look. "What that means is that we'd like to schedule you to come in for a biopsy as soon as possible so we can get some further insight."

Mowry couldn't believe what she was hearing as she told the woman she would call back to set up the biopsy appointment. Mowry's assistant, named Ciara, who was also in the car with her, said she didn't want the actress to worry and that she should just focus on getting the biopsy.

"I feel like right when I'm working on my mental health because of what I'm going through, now this. Another situation," Mowry told her assistant while crying. "This is my health."

She continued, "I have been doing so much to take care of my mental health. I've been meditating, I've been journaling, but I'm scared. I don't know what to expect."

Mowry then shared that her grandmother and aunt both died of cancer within the last five years, but Ciara was adamant in helping Mowry keep her mind clear. According to Ciara, Mowry has nothing to worry about as she has an elite team of doctors supporting her.

"When we're in a situation like this, I'm always gonna be that sounding board. Get it out. It's better out than in," said Ciara during a confessional on the show. "She has an amazing team of doctors, a very well-rounded team of doctors and there's no need to worry."
