Celebrity Tweets: Justin Bieber is a Tool Edition

Compared to us, everyone is a tool.

intro

This week in another satisfying edition of Celebrity Tweets, Justine Bieber reminds everyone what a big tool he is—and unfortunately for everyone, Nintendo gets involved in one of his music videos. As a result, the whole world cringes (except for Justin Bieber fans).

In other tweets, Soulja Boy asks some random douche an age old question, Andy Milonakis continues to be weird, and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Brooklyn Decker has a crush on a girl who wrote a song about video games. A stretch? Maybe—but read on anyway!

justin bieber

Justin Bieber makes us so angry

Youtube star, singer, optimist

Though his worst offense is undoubtedly his unbridled positivity (it really doesn't mesh well with our soul-crushing cynicism), his new music video isn't winning him any fans, either. Well, to be fair, it's probably winning him a lot of fans, but not any on our side of the fence (which is, admittedly, rather sparsely populated).

Anyway, Nintendo thought it would once again be a good idea to potentially alienate a large chunk of their soon-to-be-former fans, this time by paying probably-ungodly amounts of money for the 3DS to be heavily featured in a Christmas video about a ten-year-old boy (Bieber) and his drug-addled mother (Mariah Carey) singing a love song to one another. No, we're not going to link to it. Since when do they sell 3DS's in Macy's? We hate everything about this. You should too. Next!

lights

Lights faces a conundrum

Canadian synth-pop artist

This indie music darling's "nightly conflict" is a lot like ours, only ours involves a choice between popping in Skyrim or playing that game where you pop a ton of Tylenol PMs and try to masturbate before you fall asleep. We usually end up doing both. Win-win!

kevin rose

Kevin Rose likes Zelda

Founder of Digg, Revision3 and more

We couldn't have put it better ourselves, Kevin. Actually, that's a lie, because we did. In any case, we agree.

soulja boy

Soulja Boy asks the important questions

rapper, gamer, philosopher

This is a question we've asked ourselves many a sleepless night, as we stare up at the ceiling and ponder the general mysteries of the universe. Maybe we should do what Soulja Boy did and ask the most random person possible on Twitter. To be fair, @TheZachSwag would probably be as thug as Soulja Boy if he wasn't a 12-year-old white kid.

The tweet Soulja was replying to is priceless: "@souljaboy got so much swag. Prolly the reason why all these haters on his dick." We're also unsure why haters seem to be converging on Soulja's dick, though his copious amounts of swag may indeed be the reason. By the way, the kid responded that he liked Xbox better and then proceeded to literally beg Soulja Boy to follow him. Twitter!

andy milonakis

Andy Milonakis made a sex joke

Professional weird guy

In case you haven't heard enough rim job puns about Skyrim in the last few weeks, Andy Milonakis has laid down another one on the Twitter. We can admit that this made us laugh, but only because we're super immature.

brooklyn decker

Brooklyn Decker makes our pants tight

Sports Illustrated model turned actress

We're aware that Decker's not talking about video games at all, but we thought you might want to have a good excuse to Google her. Besides, the song she's referring to, "Video Games" by Lana Del Rey, has been stuck in our heads for about a month. Here's the music video. After reading Decker's tweet and watching this video (and if you're anything like us, which, since you're reading this, we can assume you are), your imagination is about to take you to some really great places.

jojo wright

JoJo Wright has his priorities straight

Host of "JoJo on the Radio" on KIIS-FM Los Angeles

As LA residents, we sympathize with JoJo. This whole "Occupy Whatever" thing has gotten a little out of hand—we heard all about tree guy. A man living in a tree? Preposterous. We like JoJo's philosophy; if everyone just went home and played video games, then everything would inevitably work out. At least, that's been our strategy so far, and the country has yet to implode.

derek brunson

Derek Brunson lays down some wisdom

MMA fighter, macho dude

All in all, we think the #dontlethergo trend is pretty dumb. We can think of about a million reasons to let her go. We can't really argue with Brunson's advice, though—the one that doesn't bitch about playing video games with you is probably, well, the one. Still, we'd like to advise Brunson, especially, to let her go at some point, or else she's likely to suffocate. That dude looks strong.

michael smith

Michael Smith takes Contra very seriously

Host of ESPN's "Numbers Never Lie"

We love when big personalities like Smith make reference to crazy oldschool games like Contra. We love it even more when they know what they're talking about, as is the case in this instance. Smith's referring to the vertical scrolling levels peppered throughout the Contra games—if you're not quick enough you'll get left behind. We'd love to challenge Smith to a game and see if his talk is as sick as his walk.

gary owen

Gary Owen makes an Angry Birds joke

Comedian, Zack on "Tyler Perry's House of Payne"

As if one football commentator wasn't enough for this list, Gary Owen went ahead and added his two cents to the Eagles vs. Seahawks rivalry—relevantly, with an Angry Birds joke. We're totally okay with that.

Don't forget to check back next week for another sexually promiscuous edition of Celebrity Tweets!
