Reality TV Icon Picked to Host Alex Cooper's New Hulu Dating Show

Love Overboard, formerly known as Overboard for Love, will be hosted by none other than The Traitors Season 3 winner, Gabby Windey.

It was announced Monday, July 14, that Windey, 34, has been chosen to be the official host of the new Hulu dating show, created by Call Her Daddy podcaster, Alex Cooper, 30. The Hulu Instagram account posted a reel to celebrate the announcement.

“We are setting sail with Hulu’s newest reality show,” Windey exclaims. “And I’m your host! Let’s make some waves.”

Cooper left a comment of approval underneath, “NO ONE BETTER👏👏”.

Love Overboard, which is set to air in 2026, will be Cooper’s breakout series a part of her production company Unwell Productions. The news of this new Hulu series first broke when Deadline reported on it earlier this year.

The show will follow a group of “sexy singles” as they embark on a journey across the high seas to find love. Taking place on a luxury yacht, singles will mix and mingle, take place in challenges, form alliances, and create connections with the goal of being the final couple to take home the crown.

Cooper’s breakout success with her podcast Call Her Daddy turned her into one of the most recognizable names in media. Pair that with Windey’s growing social media following and Love Overboard already has serious momentum.

Windey became a reality TV star when she first appeared on Season 26 of The Bachelor, followed by her being chosen as co-lead for Season 19 of The Bachelorette. Since then, she was crowned runner-up on Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars and most recently won Peacock’s third season of The Traitors, along with Dolores Catania, Dylan Efron, and Ivar Mountbatten.

Windey also hosts her own podcast, Long Winded, where she talks about everything from pop culture to politics, usually sporting a pair of iconic oversized sunglasses.

Cooper’s Unwell Productions will produce alongside Jeff Jenkins Productions in association with 3BMG, and Walt Disney Television Alternative.
