Country Star Zac Brown Pops the Question to Jewelry Mogul Kendra Scott

Just two months after making their debut as a couple on the American Music Awards red carpet, Zac Brown and Kendra Scott have announced their engagement.

“We are so happy and grateful that we found each other,” the happy couple told People on Thursday, July 24. The Zac Brown Band frontman, 46, proposed to the jewelry designer, 51, with a pink diamond ring before posing for sunset photos.

"What are you gonna get somebody that designs jewelry?" the “Chicken Fried” singer joked when discussing the proposal on the Today Show.

In May, Brown made their relationship Instagram official with a post captioned, “Hit the @amas with the best date by my side.” Scott had also posted her own photo of the event, with her caption mentioning how proud she was of the country singer. That night, Brown was presented with the inaugural Veteran’s Voice Award.

Comments on Scott’s latest Instagram post with Brown quickly filled with congratulations and well-wishes.

"Must say..you two are the cutest." someone commented. Another added, "Love it!!! You look so happy and he has never looked so great!!!"

A third commenter was late to the party, saying, "Are you seriously with @zacbrown !! That’s so awesome!!! How long have you been together?? I need details."

It has been a busy week for the musician, who recently announced that the Zac Brown Band will be taking on a residency at the Sphere Las Vegas from December 5 to January 10.

No wedding date has been announced yet, but their upcoming nuptials will mark the third wedding for Brown and the fourth for Scott.
