Demi Lovato is no stranger to reinventing herself, as demonstrated by wiping her Instagram clean on Wednesday, July 9.

The decision to erase all but one post on her Instagram suggests that Lovato, 32, is teasing a new music era. This move comes ten years after her smash hit, "Cool For The Summer".

The former Disney Channel star first hinted at a change with a different Spotify profile photo before clearing out her Instagram. Fans were also quick to spot other changes, such as reposting an old post from June 2016, and her official website no longer being available.

Fans have also taken to social media to point out that upcoming new music by Lovato might be taking notes from other notable rebrands from artists such as Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.

"I mean, 'Cool For The Summer' was a nice little bop, I wouldn't be totally uninterested. It just depends on what her new music sounds like!" one fan wrote on Reddit.

Lovato had recently sat down with Teen Vogue to discuss the difficulties of child stardom and mental health, another sign that fans are taking as a hint at new music possibly having a more "personal" or "stripped-down" feel.

On Lovato's Instagram, she wears a backless black dress against a white backdrop. The caption reads, "i'm not so sure, i've ever felt like this before."

The sole photo on Lovato's Instagram account has been racking up the likes and comments, with fans eagerly awaiting what might be in store next for the "Camp Rock" alum.

"Oh my God, I'm freaking out," says one, with another commenter stating "We've missed you!"

Super fans of Lovato might learn soon what this new era means for the pop star, as her mailing list was linked on her Instagram story.
