Former Playboy Playmate Shanna Moakler took to Instagram on Tuesday, August 12, to share a sultry bikini photo, showing off her recent weight loss.

The Instagram post shows Moakler, 50, wearing a cowboy hat and a cow print bikini, with the caption reading, "Finally found my perfect cowboy hat — and in the color I’ve been dreaming about. Serving Wild West with a side of ‘bless your heart'."

The former Miss USA contestant had shared additional swimsuit photos just days earlier, clearly feeling empowered by her weight-loss results with Mounjaro. Moakler opened up about her experience with the weight loss drug with People in June 2024. She revealed that she lost both of her parents in 2023, and responded by eating.

"I was in a very, very dark place. I stopped dieting. I stopped exercising. I just ate like s***. I was so devastated, and I missed my f***ing mom and dad," Moakler said, adding, "I was like, 'I'm going to f***ing eat the pain away."

Fans and supporters of Moakler were quick to fill the comments of her Instagram post with heart and fire emojis.

"Looking beautiful as always, Shanna," said one person. Another commenter referenced Moakler's chaotic public life, stating, "You taught me how to be strong in any situation just by being you."

Moakler was married to Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker from 2006 to 2008, with whom she shares 2 children, Landon and Alabama. In the past, she had a strained relationship with her kids, who publicly accused her of being absent. As of 2025, they’ve reconciled, with Moakler confirming they’ve apologized and are now on good terms. Moakler was also previously in a relationship with professional boxer Oscar De La Hoya, sharing daughter Atiana with the Mexican-American boxing promoter.

“I don’t think anyone has a clue about who I am,” she told People. “I’m more than just the ex-wife of famous men. I was Miss USA at 19. I’m smart. Every part I've ever got in any movie, or every show I hosted or auditioned for, I worked my f***ing ass off to get.”
