Well, this is unexpected. According to Indiewire, Spike Lee is currently developing a TV series based on his 1985 film She's Gotta Have It, which will reportedly air on Showtime. From the press release:

Lee will write and direct the series. Although the series will be set in present day, it's not yet clear if any of the actors from the original film—Tracy Camilla Johns, Tommy Redmond Hicks, John Canada Terrell—will be in the series.
