Vanessa Hudgens Confirms Engagement to MLB Player Cole Tucker (UPDATE)

UPDATED 2/9, 7:20 p.m. ET: The rumors were true. Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker are getting hitched.

The High School Musical star confirmed their engagement via Instagram on Thursday, about a week after TMZ reported Tucker had popped the question in late 2022.

Hudgens posted photos of her and the MLB star in Paris, where she showed off her massive engagement ring.

“YES. We couldn’t be happier,” she captioned the post, which was reshared on Tucker’s personal account.

Vanessa Hudgens and MLB player Cole Tucker are reportedly engaged.

TMZ reports that Tucker proposed to the actress at the end of last year, though the details of their engagement are unknown. The couple has been dating since 2020 and Hudgens has become a regular at Tucker’s baseball games, where he plays shortstop and outfielder for the Colorado Rockies.

Prior to being signed with the Rockies, Tucker played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, with which he made his MLB debut in 2019, and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Hudgens recently appeared in Kid Cudi’s adult animated special, Entergalactic, which arrived via Netflix last September, and was the companion piece to the rapper’s eighth studio album of the same name. Hudgens voices the role of Karina—the best friend of Meadow, one of the main characters, played by Jessica Williams. Also appearing in the film are Timothée Chalamet, Ty Dolla Sign, Jaden Smith, Teyana Taylor, and Macaulay Culkin.
