Whole Squad Inked: 'Suicide Squad' Cast Tattooed Each Other in the Name of Friendship
The cast is now just a step or two away from becoming the coolest cult out.
Face it: cults, in their purest form, are kind of cool. Everyone literally shares the exact same worldview, no matter how ridiculous. Everyone probably eats the exact same food each and every day, meaning everyone is able to avoid the daily "Where do you want to eat?" dilemma. Also, everyone gives each other scribbled, near-awful tattoos in the name of cultdom, or maybe that's just a part of the increasingly enticing Suicide Squad cast cult that's been brewing for the better part of 2015.
After Jared Leto's gifted dead rat and director David Ayer's decision to employ an on-set therapist due to reported "psychological litness," the enviably multidimensional bond clearly shared by the cast of Suicide Squad added a new wrinkle this week with the announcement of Harley's Tattoo Parlor:
Yes, indeed. That's Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) giving Ayer some SKWAD ink. Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) also showed his cult allegiance with a similarly scribbled SKWAD stamp:
Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman) had the distinct pleasure of receiving his friendship ink from an obviously elated Deadshot (Will Smith), an impromptu tattoo artist described by Kinnaman as "a drunk baby flying a helicopter." This is all very impressive, but is admittedly a far cry from the shrewd brilliance of Shia LaBeouf's recent addition of a Beavis & Butthead-esque Tupac tattoo.
