Pastafarianism, a.k.a. the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, is a totally real and definitely not satirical form of religion aimed at bettering the planet through first acknowledging the fact that global warming can be easily traced to the declining number of pirates currently roaming the seas. In a statement released to the American Humanist Associationover the weekend, Lowell resident Lindsay Miller said that her ability to rock a strainer allows her to express her own beliefs, just as any other religion would:
