Donald Trump's Racist Remarks on Immigration Causing Major Problems For 'Miss USA' Pageant

We might finally, triumphantly be witnessing the proper vilification of one Donald Trump. The ill-haired makeshift political figure (I guess?) made rather large waves (of racism) with his recent incendiary remarks on immigration, excerpted below:

In the wake of those remarks, Trump is now facing determined opposition from a variety of business partners. Univision swiftly dropped Trump and NBC Universal’s co-produced Miss USA broadcast, with NBC issuing a statement expressing firm disagreement with Trump's racial sentiments. "Donald Trump’s opinions do not represent those of NBC," reads the statement, "and we do not agree with his positions on a number of issues, including his recent comments on immigration." In response, Trump has classlessly banned all Univision employees from his Miami golf resort.

Thankfully, Trump's exponential fallout is far from over — with Miss USA Spanish simulcast hosts Cristian de la Fuente and Roselyn Sanchez's announcement that they would no longer host the broadcast due to the racist nature of Trump's remarks. "As a Latino, I cannot work in an event associated with your name," de la Fuente said in a video statement. "The statements you made against Mexicans and immigrants show that you are ignorant." Sanchez called Trump's remarks "disrespectful and hurtful."
