'Fate of the Furious' International Trailer Is the Most Furious Yet
The new international trailer for 'The Fate of the Furious' teases the relationship between Dom (Vin Diesel) and Cipher (Charlize Theron).
Furious 7 literally made a billion bucks back in 2015, making the hype surrounding this year's Fate of the Furious (GET IT?!!? Fate=F + 8) about as massive as the movie's rumored running time. Following the release of the first proper trailer in December and this month's Super Bowl TV spot, a new international trailer for F. Gary Gray's surefire blockbuster has arrived to ensure the hype stays palpable.
This latest look at the eighth entry in the Fast & Furious franchise gives us a better look at whatever the hell is going on between Dom (Vin Diesel) and Cipher (Charlize Theron). Additionally, we are treated to astounding visual depictions of explosions and unreasonable driving speeds.
As spotted byPolygon Monday, the Internet Movie Database recently added a compelling running time to the Fate of the Furious page. At two hours and 17 minutes, Furious 7 previously held the title of longest Fast & Furious movie of all time. However, if the reported running time for Fate of the Furious is to be believed, that record is about to be annihilated. According to the movie's IMDb page, Diesel and company will be doing their thing for a full 160 minutes. For the record, that would be longer than The Revenant.
Peep the crucial parts of the film's official synopsis below:
The Fate of the Furious, also starring Michelle Rodriguez and Dwayne Johnson, hits theaters Apr. 14.
